‘Pakistan ‘hope’ of Muslim world: JK Muslim League

Srinagar: The ‘Muslim League Jammu Kashmir’ congratulated the newly elected Pakistan President Mr. Mamnoon Hussain on taking over the charges of presidency of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, while lambasting the rest of the world for perceived ‘anti-islamic’ prejudice.

“We hope the newly elected Pak President will strive for the stability of Pakistan and utilize his good office for the liberation of its natural part Jammu and Kashmir from the oppression of India,” Muslim League General Secretary Abdul Ahad Parra in a statement issued to Global News Service (GNS) said.

Terming Pakistan as the shield for Muslim world and a “hope of Kashmiris’ wishes and aspirations” Parra said the strong and stable Pakistan was the ‘surety’ of Kashmiri freedom. “There are conspiracies being hatched to destabilize Islamic Pakistan and those who are hell bent upon subverting the integrity of Pakistan have nothing to do with Islam,” Parra said.

Condemning the massacre of Muslims in Muzaffar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, Abdul Ahad Parra said that India’s tall claims of democracy are aimed at misleading the world community.

Lashing out at United States and other Western countries, he said they are involved in large scale massacre of Muslims and are involved in mass human rights violations in Muslim nations. “It is their dual nature.”

“In such a situation we should rise above all sectarian and mutual differences and unite for the sake of Ummah, therein lays our success,” Muslim League General Secretary added. (based on GNS report)
